January 2017 Newsletter

One of the biggest needs that coaches are confronted with is putting our kids in uniforms.  To help meet this need, the Booster Club is starting a uniform subsidy program that will give each sports team money every 4 years to repair/replace uniforms.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  To meet this need, we are hosting a silent auction and raffle on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at the Kennewick vs Kamiakin basketball game.  We need donations to make this auction a success.  Donations can be dropped off at the Activities Office at Kennewick High or sent to Katy Woolery, 2624 W 6th Place, Kennewick, 99336.  Spread the word and plan to attend the event!  Go Lions!

Buffalo Wild Wings

In December, the girls and boys basketball teams joined forces with Buffalo Wild Wings for a fundraiser.  Thank you Buffalo Wild Wings for supporting our amazing student-athletes and coaches.

Walmart continues to financially support Kennewick High student-athletes through their Volunteering Always Pays (VAP) program.  Walmart employee Tyler Marquardt volunteers his time at football, basketball, and baseball games.  Walmart donates $1,000 every year due to Tyler's generous donation of his time.  Thank you Tyler and thank you Walmart!

Allstate - Groth Family Insurance

Allstate donates money to non-profit organizations when an Allstate affiliated business or employee donates their time to the organization.  Father/Son team Duane and Jerad Groth (Groth Family Insurance) volunteered their time.  Allstate donated $2,000 to the boys basketball team!  Thank you Duane and Jerad.  Thank you Allstate!

Volunteer Spotlight

Rikki Davis and Mary Bauer are in the spotlight this month.  Over the past two years, both Rikki and Mary have volunteered in the concession stand and at the clothing sales table.  In December, they both responded to a last minute REMIND APP text message alert asking for volunteers to help with the Booster Club clothing sales fundraiser.  Thank you Rikki and Mary for your servant hearts!
